Rhinoceros Looking at the Moon
It is no exaggeration when people say that you will encounter spectacular views every inch of the way when cruising through Qutang Gorge. At the lower segment of the Bellows Gorge on the north bank, you will encounter a picturesque view on top of the mountain resembling a rhinoceros looking at the moon. At times the gently floating mists envelopes the rocky ridges in such a way that they almost seem to come alive. Among these almost life-like formations is one that resembles a rhinoceros with a raised head looking up in the direction of the moon. Be careful to not miss this view since most visitors find this to be one of the more exciting and stimulating areas on the river.
