DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY
Day 01: Starting in Beijing
Meet the professional local guide upon arrival at the airport and check into the hotel. The rest day is left open for individual activities on your own.

 Day 02: Beijing    
Included sightseeing with your private guide starts in the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and then a visit to the Temple of Heaven. Enjoy the noted Peking Duck Dinner at a famous restaurant, and then the Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre is scheduled.

 Day 03: Beijing  
The truly magnificent Great Wall will be presented to you this morning. After a lush lunch at a fancy Sichuan cuisine restaurant in a nearby county, the afternoon's sightseeing takes in the Ming Tomb and the Sacred Road. This evening the dinner will be arranged at a fancy restaurant at the famous Wangfujing Avenue.

 Day 04: Beijing - Xian  
Visit the Qing Dynasty Royal Garden - Summer Palace and the Lama Temple as the grand finale of your Beijing trip. Take flight to Xian and be met at the airport. Check into the hotel where a well prepared buffet dinner is scheduled for you.

 Day 05: Xian
Drive eastwards to visit the genuine Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Lunch is scheduled at a decent Cantonese cuisine restaurant in downtown. Afternoon delights include the visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall. Enjoy the glorious Tang Dynasty Dinner Show in Tang Dynasty Palace in the evening.

  Day 06: Xian
Take a full day city tour to visit the Provincial History Museum, the Great Mosque and a local family. Lunch is served at a local well-known restaurant.

  Day 07: Xian - Shanghai
On the way to the airport, visit the Hanyangling Museum, the mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liuqi. After lunch, take flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel.

  Day 08: Shanghai
One full day is to explore Shanghai, including the sightseeing of the Shanghai Museum, the Yuyuan Garden and a cruise tour on the Huangpu River. Dinner will be served at a fancy restaurant named Wang Bao He, which is the best place to sample Shanghai cuisine. The evening delight is the Portman Acrobatic Show held at the Shanghai Center Theatre.

  Day 09: Shanghai - Guilin
The morning is left for free activities and lunch is on your side. See you off by an afternoon flight to Guilin and check into hotel. After dinner, you will be entertained by the fabulous Ethnic Songs and Dances Performance at Lijiang Theatre.

  Day 10: Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin
Travel to Yangshuo by cruising along the magnificent Li River which itself is the highlight today. Upon arrival in Yangshuo, a brief country-road tour by bicycle will then be arranged. A local family will be somewhere along the road expecting your visit. For those who are less skillful of running a bicycle, you can take our electric car instead. Transfer back to Guilin. (Tips: Since the lunch on the Li River cruise can not meet your expectation, YangtzeRiverTour suggests that you have enough breakfast at the hotel today.)

  Day 11: Guilin - Hong Kong
The truly magnificent scenery will be presented to you today as you travel to the Reed Flute Cave, the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill. See off by the flight to Hong Kong. Upon arrival, check into the hotel on your own.

  Day 12: Hong Kong
You will take a half-day Hong Kong Island tour on your own by taking peak tram to mid-level of Central District then to Victoria Peak. Later visit Repulse Bay, Aberdeen and Stanley Market.
