DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY
 Day 01: Starting in Beijing
Meet the professional local guide upon arrival at the airport and check into the hotel. The rest day is left open for individual activities on your own.

 Day 02: Beijing    
The truly magnificent Great Wall will be presented to you this morning. After a lush lunch at a fancy Sichuan cuisine restaurant in a nearby county, the afternoon's sightseeing takes in the Ming Tomb and the Sacred Way. This evening the dinner will be arranged at a fancy restaurant at the famous Wangfujing Avenue.

 Day 03: Beijing - Hohhot
Visit the Qing Dynasty Royal Garden - Summer Palace, and the lovely Pandas in Beijing Zoo, then take flight to Hohhot and transfer to the hotel.

 Day 04: Hohhot
Take car to the Gegentala to visit the herdsmen's tent. You will be entertained by the Mongolian Singing and Dances. Stay at the tent for a different experience.

  Day 05: Hohhot - Datong
Drive back to Hohhot and visit the Zhaojun Tomb, the Five Pagoda Temple and the Dazhao Temple. Transfer to Datong by the soft seat train and check in at the hotel.

   Day 06: Datong - Beijing
Visit the highlights of Datong, including the Yungang Grottoes, the Shanhua Monastery and the Nine Dragons Screen. Then take the overnight soft sleeper train to Beijing.

  Day 07: Beijing
Morning arrival in Beijing and the local guide will pick you up at the railway station. Included sightseeing with your private guide starts in the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and then a visit to the Temple of Heaven. Enjoy the noted Peking Duck Dinner at a famous restaurant, and then the Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre is scheduled.
