Day 01: Starting in Beijing
You will be met upon arrival at Beijing Capital Airport and check into your hotel. The rest day is left free off schedule for your individual activities. No escorted tour is scheduled.

Day 02: Beijing    
After breakfast you are invited to attend the pre-tour briefing in the hotel, where you will meet the other members of your group. Start your China tour with the visit to the world largest city square of Tian'anmen Square. Just cross the famous Chang'an Avenue to enter the Forbidden City to appreciate this majestic royal court complex. In the afternoon the visit will be focused on the Temple of Heaven, where the Emperors pray for God blessing and harvest for the whole nation. The welcome dinner of the Beijing Specialty Peking Duck Banquet valued at CNY122.00 net per person will be served at a famous restaurant. Consequently you will be entertained by a brilliant Peking Opera performance at the well-known Liyuan Theatre.

Day 03: Beijing  
Drive to visit Badaling section of the world famous Great Wall, one of the ancient construction wonders in the history. You will be given 1.5-2 hours to have a short excursion on the wall. To reward the energy lost in the morning, you will be transferred back to a fine local Sichuan food restaurant to have a decent lunch. In the afternoon you will move to visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tombs.

Day 04: Beijing - Xian  
After visiting the Imperial garden Summer Palace where is the royalties' summer resort and the lovely Giant Pandas in Beijing Zoo, take an afternoon flight to the next ancient capital city, Xian. The local guide will pick you up at the Xian airport and transfer to check in at the well selected hotel, where a lush buffet dinner valued at CNY168.00 net per person is waiting for you.

Day 05: Xian
Drive to visit the remarkable significant archeological excavation of Terracotta Warriors and Horses in the morning, which is not to be missed for any visitors to China. The a la carte lunch at CNY80.00 net per person will be arranged at a famous restaurant in the downtown area, to avoid having the poor food at the tourism site shop. In the afternoon go on with the city tour to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the well preserved Ancient City Wall. This evening please enjoy the marvelous Tang Dynasty Dinner Show.

Day 06: Xian
Continue your Xian city tour by visiting the Provincial History Museum in the morning. After a well arranged lunch valued at CNY80.00 net per person at a local well-known restaurant, visit a local family and the Great Mosque. You will have some free time to explore the Muslim Bazaar nearby for some souvenirs or little gifts for your families or friends. The same valued a la carte dinner will be served at a local well-known Sichuan cuisine restaurant.

Day 07: Xian - Chongqing
On the way to the airport, visit the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi. Take a flight to the mountain city Chongqing and be met at the airport. After enjoying a reputed buffet dinner at CNY88.00 net per person at the 4-star hotel, Holiday Inn Yangtze, you will be transferred to board onto the German-made cruise ship to stay overnight.

Day 08: Chongqing - Fengdu
Your memorable Yangtze River Cruise starts sailing at 8:00 in the morning. Relax on deck and view both farm and village life in rural China on both sides along the river. After lunch, the ship will stop at the Ghost City Fengdu for a side trip, where you will visit many temples housing silent ghost devils.

Day 09: Badong - Xiling Gorge - Sandouping
Today your eyes will be busy with endless breathtaking beautiful scenery as the ship sailing through the splendid Three Gorges, the Qutang Gorge famous for its natural spectacular landscape, the Wu Gorge known for its 'Twelve Peaks' and the longest Xiling Gorge. On the way, the ship will stop at Badong to have an interesting short floating along the Shennong Stream in small pea boat, rowing by the boat trackers between the well-wooden and cliffy hills. Then continue the sailing to Xiling Gorge and pass through the five-step ship lock.

Day 10: Sandouping
Disembark at Sandongping to visit the magnificent Three Gorges Dam Construction Project, the world's largest hydroelectric project. You will be surprised at the sight of the sheer size of the dam and the exhibition hall with the Dam model. Continue your cruises to pass the eastern section of Xiling Gorge and the river guide will provide you with a narration. You will pass the ship lock of Gezhouba Dam after exiting the gorges at Yichang. The dancing and music performance will be arranged for you to enjoy yourself at 20:00 in the evening farewell party.

Day 11: Wuhan - Shanghai
Your Yangtze River Cruise will be finished when arriving in Wuhan at around mid-day. Disembark and pay a visit to Hubei Provincial Museum after lunch. Take a flight to the largest economic metropolis in China, Shanghai. After checking in at the hotel, the rest hours are free on your own if any.

Day 12: Shanghai
Visit Shanghai Museum with large collection of rare cultural piece and the elegant Yuyuan Garden full of traditional flavor in the morning. After lunch, take a short cruise tour on the Huangpu River. The Farewell Dinner valued at CNY105.00 net per person is specially arranged at the famous Wang Bao He in Central Hotel, with a history of 260 years old and serving the best Shanghai Cuisine. The breathtaking Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre will be served afterwards.

Day 13: Shanghai - Guilin
This morning is free off schedule for your individual activities. After lunch, take a flight to Guilin. Enjoy the Ethnic Minority Songs and Dances at Lijiang Theatre after dinner.

Day 14: Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin
Take the memorable cruise along the Li River down to Yangshuo with lunch on board, fully soaked up into the fantastic picturesque mountains, peaceful green fields, farms and villages with water buffalos, cows wandering around on both sides of the river bank on the way. After checking in the local best hotel, a special bicycle ride along the countryside will be an extraordinary experience of your trip, by which you can take a deep breath of the fresh air there and have a close touching of the local people's life. You can also take our electric car which is more energy-saving alternatively. You may also have a chance to take a family visit to the villager's home. Transfer back to Guilin by car. (Tips: Since the lunch on the Li River cruise can not meet your expectation, YangtzeRiverTour suggests that you have a rich breakfast at the hotel today.)

Day 15: Guilin - Hong Kong
Wrap up your Guilin tours by the visit to the Reed Flute Cave, the Elephant Trunk Hill and the Seven Star Park. After lunch take a flight to Hong Kong known as the 'Shopping Paradise'. Upon arrival, please transfer to the reserved hotel by yourself.

Day 16: Hong Kong
Enjoy the full day on your own and we only arrange the hotel with breakfast for you. You are suggested to take a half-day Hong Kong Island tour, taking peak tram to mid-level of Central District then to Victoria Peak, visiting the Repulse Bay, Aberdeen and the Stanley Market.

 Day 17: Ending in Hong Kong

It is approx 25 miles (40 km) from the InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong to Hong Kong International Airport.

 Best way to Airports:
YangtzeRiverTour suggests you book a taxi at the Front Desk of your hotel (InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong) to make sure you won't stand outside the hotel entrance with your luggage waiting for a taxi. The taxi to Hong Kong International Airport will take 40 minutes at about HKD300.00 (USD39.00 net) per trip. Hotel shuttle buses to the airport are also available, you could book it through the hotel Concierge with a cost of around HKD120 - 130 (USD16.00 net) per person.
