The truly magnificent Great Wall will be presented to you this morning. After a lush lunch at a fancy Sichuan cuisine restaurant in a nearby county, the afternoon's sightseeing takes in the Ming Tomb and the Sacred Road.

Visit the Qing Dynasty Royal Garden - Summer Palace, as the grand finale of your Beijing trip. Take flight to Xian and be met at the airport. Xian memorable tour is unveiled by the visit to the ancient City Wall.

Drive eastwards to visit the genuine Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Lunch is scheduled at a decent Cantonese cuisine restaurant in downtown. Afternoon delights include the visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Great Mosque. Enjoy the glorious Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show while the local special Dumpling Dinner is served.

Continue the Xian city tour to visit the Provincial History Museum. After lunch at a well-known restaurant, take flight to Xining and transfer to the hotel.

Visit the Ta'er Monastery. Transfer to Lanzhou by soft seat train and transfer to the hotel. Take a short tour to visit the Gansu Provincial Museum.

The whole day is scheduled for you to visit the Binglingsi Grottoes.

Drive to Xiahe and visit the Sangke Grassland and have a visit to a Tibetan family. Check in at the hotel.

After visiting the Labrang Monastery and having a watch of the morning devotion there, transfer back to Lanzhou and check in at the hotel.

Drive to Wuwei and check into the hotel. Take a brief city tour to visit the Han Tombs, the excavation site of the Logo of National Tourism of China - the Bronze Galloping Horse and the Confucius Temple.

Drive to Zhangye and check into the hotel. Take a brief city tour to visit the Giant Buddha Temple, the Wooden Tower of Sui Dynasty, the Bell Tower and the Drum Tower.

Drive to Jiayuguan and check into the hotel. Take a brief city tour to visit the Jiayuguan Pass, the First Fire Tower of Great Wall and the Wei-jin Art Gallery.

Transfer to Dunhuang and check in at the hotel. Take a special experience of a camel ride along the Echoing-sand Dune to reach the Crescent Lake.  

Continue the Dunhuang visit to the Mogao Grottoes and the Dunhuang Museum.  Take the overnight soft sleeper train to Turpan.  

Upon arrival, the local guide will pick you up at the railway station and transfer you to the hotel. The breakfast is served at the hotel. Take the rest day to visit Turpan, involving the discovery to the Jiaohe Ruins, the Karez Well and the Sugong Pagoda. 

Continue the Turpan tour to visit the Gaochang Ruins, the Baizikeli Thousand Buddha Cave and the Flaming Hill. Transfer to Urumqi and check in at the hotel.

Take flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Yuyuan Garden, the Bund and a local family visit to get an idea of local people and life. Dinner will be served at a fancy restaurant named Wang Bao He, which is the best place to sample Shanghai cuisine. The evening delight is the Portman Acrobatic Show held at the Shanghai Center Theatre.
