Day 01

Starting in Beijing
Meet the professional local guide upon arrival at the airport and check into the hotel. The rest day is left open for individual activities on your own.

Included sightseeing with your private guide starts in the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and then a visit to the Temple of Heaven. Enjoy the noted Peking Duck Dinner at the original, century-old Quan Ju De restaurant, and following the Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre is scheduled.

Day 03


 Beijing  
The truly magnificent Great Wall will be presented to you this morning. After a lush lunch at a fancy Sichuan cuisine restaurant in a nearby county, the afternoon's sightseeing takes in the Ming Tomb and the Summer Palace.

Day 04

 Beijing - Tsetang
Take the flight to Tsetang where the altitude is 3,400 meters above sea level. Transfer to the hotel and acclimatize yourself to the high altitude in the afternoon. Dinner is served at your hotel.

Day 05  Tsetang
In the morning, take ferry across the Yarlong Tangpo River to visit the Samye Monastery. After lunch, visit the Tomb of Tibet Kings and the Yumbu Lakang. Dinner is arranged at your hotel.

Day 06   Tsetang - Gyangtse
Drive to Gyangtse and visit the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake and the Karola snow mountain on the way. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and there the dinner is served.

Day 07   Gyangtse - Shigatse
Visit the Palkhor Monastery and the Gyangtse Old Street. Then transfer to Shigatse and check in at the hotel, where the dinner is served.

Day 08   Shigatse - Lhasa
Visit the Tashilhunpo Monastery and the New Palace of Panchen. Then transfer to Lhasa and check in at the hotel. The a la carte dinner will be arranged for you at a local best restaurant.

Day 09   Lhasa
Visit the magnificent Potala Palace in the morning and then a western style lunch is scheduled for you. Continue to visit the Sera Monastery, the Norbulingka Park and a Tibetan Family in the afternoon. Dinner is served at your hotel.

Day 10   Lhasa
Enjoy a full day religion excursion in Lhasa to the Jokhang Temple, the local bazaar of the Barkhor Street, the Tibet Museum, the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital and the Carpet Factory. A western style lunch is scheduled for you. Dinner served at your hotel.

  Lhasa - Xian
Take flight to Xian and be met at the airport. Xian memorable tour is unveiled by the visit to the ancient City Wall. Check into the hotel.

Day 12   Xian
Drive eastwards to visit the genuine Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Lunch is scheduled at a decent Cantonese cuisine restaurant in downtown. Afternoon delights include the visit to the Peasant Painting Gallery and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Enjoy the glorious Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show while the local special Dumpling Dinner is served.

Day 13   Xian
Continue the Xian city tour to visit the Provincial History Museum. After lunch at a well-known Cantonese cuisine restaurant, visit the Great Mosque. You will have some free time to explore the Muslim Bazaar nearby for some souvenirs.

Day 14   Xian - Guilin
Take flight to Guilin and transfer to the hotel. The truly magnificent scenery will be presented to you today as you travel to the Reed Flute Cave, the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill. After dinner, you will be entertained by the fabulous Ethnic Songs and Dances Performace at Lijiang Theatre.

Day 15   Guilin - Yangshuo
Travel to Yangshuo by cruising along the magnificent Li River which itself is the highlight of today. Upon arrival in Yangshuo, a brief country-road tour by bicycle will then be arranged. A local family will be somewhere along the road expecting your visit. For those who are less skillful of running a bicycle, you can take our electric car instead. (Tips: Since the lunch on the Li River cruise can not meet your expectation, YangtzeRiverTour suggests that you have enough breakfast at the hotel today.)

Day 16   Yangshuo - Guilin - Hong Kong
The morning is left free for yourself to explore the amazingly beautiful town. You can find a tiny and enigmatic world with the breathtaking scenery and have a pot of tea in a sidewalk cafe feeling totally relaxed. You can rent a bicycle to visit the Moon Hill and the Big Banian Tree. Transfer back to Guilin in the afternoon and take flight to Hong Kong.

You will take a half-day guided Hong Kong Island tour by taking peak tram to mid-level of Central District then to Victoria Peak. Later visit Repulse Bay, Aberdeen and Stanley Market. Afternoon is free for individual activities.
