<STRONG>Location</STRONG><BR>The city of Jiujiang in Jiangxi Province is a beautiful port city with a 2,200-hundred-year history. 'Jiujiang City' is actually an administrative district, a prefecture-city, with an area of about 18,823 square kilometers (4,651,264 acres). Lying on the north border of the Jiangxi Province, Jiujiang City fronts <A href="/amaze_yangtze/attraction/city/jiujiang/poyang_lake.htm">Poyang Lake</A> in the east, faces the Yangtze River in the North, and backs on Lushan Mountain in the south.
