According to the Tourism Bureau of Fengjie County, the bridge connecting the Baidi City with the Yangtze River bank is expected to be put into service this October.

The scenic spot in Fengjie County-Baidi City has become an island dotted in the Yangtze River since 2006 when the water level of the Three Gorges Reservoir reached 156 meters (512 feet). The bridge is about 380 meters (416 yards) long and 7-9 meters (23-30 feet) wide with three pavilions set in the central part. The piers are made of bluestone with the wooden bridge deck.
